Too sweet.
Fresh off officially reuniting with a heel AJ Styles on Monday Night Raw, there appears to be more good news for fans of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. After months of speculation about what would happen when Gallows and Anderson hit free agency, a new report says WWE has put a halt to all of it.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required and encouraged) Dave Meltzer provides an update on the contract status of Gallows and Anderson.
“Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows have either agreed to, or actually signed their five-year contracts. Company sources say they are there long-term. But unlike with The Revival where the push with Shane McMahon and the tag belts are an attempt to keep them from going to AEW next year, Anderson & Gallows have reportedly made their decision, and are to be focused on new Club group with Styles. This, and the Styles turn, were said to be written out before Heyman was given power.”
For 39-year-old Anderson and the 35-year-old Gallows, this new contract from WWE would push their careers to 2024 and their early 40s.
Signing with WWE in 2016, the past three years for the former Bullet Club staples have been a mixed bag. Reforming The Club with Styles is a good start and hopefully this time around WWE doesn’t forget about Gallows and Anderson for long stretches.
Are you excited for Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to have a better run with WWE, or disappointed they won’t have a chance with AEW or a return to New Japan?
