Trish Stratus just needed that little nudge to get back in the ring. Instead, Charlotte Flair verbally shoved Stratus’s mom life back in her face.
On this week’s SmackDown, WWE heavily promoted Stratus appearing for a very special edition of Jerry Lawler’s King’s Court. Stratus got out a few sentences, Lawler got to say one creepy line, and then Flair interrupted them.
Flair was not playing around and immediately provoked Stratus into a match at SummerSlam in two weeks.

Stratus initially no sold every single bit of Flair’s trash talk. Flair brought up Stratus’s kids and that was more than enough to get the match made.

The SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) takes place on Sun., Aug. 11, 2019 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
