The Miz and Dolph Ziggler have been arguing back and forth for a couple weeks now, including a money segment where Ziggler superkicked Shawn Michaels while Miz was provoking him. That segment somehow led Ziggler to match bookings against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor on Raw and SmackDown, respectively.
Per WWE.com, Miz will get his chance at Ziggler at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) on Sun., Aug. 11, 2019, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The story, as WWE is telling it:
This time, Ziggler has been the one to stoke hostilities with The Miz, essentially accusing his fellow Clevelander of selling out so he could score a reality show and a supermodel wife. Miz, meanwhile, has turned a corner in recent months, casting aside his old me-first sensibilities to harness his inner fighting spirit — something he pointedly contrasts with Ziggler’s recent complaints that he’s the one owed all the opportunities around here.
Babyface Miz is actually working pretty well, isn’t he?
