Here at Cageside Seats, we pride ourselves on being a source you can trust when it comes to things on top of John Cena’s head.
So we’d be remiss if we didn’t follow up on the Face Who Used To Run The Place’s tease of a new hairstyle from last week with the reveal. And if you’re like us (not so much in love with his old crew cut, but mystified by how weird he continued to look with longer hair and a part - like, how come we never got used to it?), you’re probably gonna like the new do...

I can’t vouch for the claim his Mandarin is “impeccable”, but he’s speaking more confidently in Chinese than he was a year or so ago. And as regular readers know, I barely speak English, so I’m impressed.
Speculating on the film role he cut his hair for is something I will do, though. Guessing this is so he can play a still-unrevealed “bad ass” in the currently filming Fast & Furious 9. But it could be for his rumored role in James Gunn’s Suicide Squad 2, since that needs to start production soon in order for Gunn to reunite with Dave Bautista for the back-on Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3.
Doesn’t look like it’s for SummerSlam (32, since we’re doing the whole numbered sequels thing), so we’re likely facing a solid year of WWE “Big 4” PPV events without and an official match featuring Cena.
The times, and the hair, they keep a changin’.
