Twitter is awful for a number of reasons, not least of which is the fact that so many folks are emboldened to treat their fellow humans like garbage for literally no reasons. Take this exchange, for instance:
I would love it if WWE would stop putting shitty announcers on their shows...Mauro and Nigel are the only good ones
— TheElDave (@TheElDave) July 27, 2019
That would be WWE commentator Renee Young joking around about a weird style choice and some random person deciding it was a perfect time to tell her he believes she’s terrible at her job. He’s far from the only one who has made sure to tell her this, and it’s clearly affected her.
and the checks keep coming in

An understandable response, considering, right? Sure enough, another fan called that out and that’s what led to Renee being outwardly vulnerable:
Here’s the truth. I know im not great on commentary, but it’s my job. I try to get better each week. People love to tell me how bad I am at it as if I think I’m great at it. So I should just quit? What would that say about me?Not easy to learn a skill on a gigantic global tv show

Remember, we started at a simple, dumb joke about a style choice and ended up here.
Considering the commentary we’ve been subjected to from WWE over the years, especially since Jim Ross left, I can’t imagine complaining about Renee Young. Of course she’s not the best, but it could be a whole hell of a lot worse.
Even more, though, if you think she’s terrible don’t go out of your way to tell her that.
