WWE SmackDown Live ratings (July 23, 2019): Hangover

They didn’t have the cast of legends, but SmackDown LIVE did have some carryover from Raw Reunion this week - and their own strong numbers last week.

SmackDown had an audience of 2,162,000 on Tues., July 23. That’s only up a smidge (40K) from the week prior, but it is once again WWE’s best Tuesday night number since the Superstar Shake-up back in April. For the second straight week, it made the blue brand the sixth most watched cable original on the night, trailing only political talk from Fox News and MSNBC.

The rating for the 18-49 year old audience was flat. But staying at .65 was enough to win the night easily.

Ideally, they’d like to see SmackDown hold more of Raw’s audience, but WWE didn’t really make much of an effort to encourage folks who tuned in Monday to make it two straight nights of sports entertainment, so...

Next week is one week closer to SummerSlam, and a second week on the job for new Executive Director Eric Bischoff. While you wonder what different that might make, here’s a list of Team Blue’s audience and demo ratings from the past six months:
