WWE 205 Live results (July 2, 2019): Tornado Tag mayhem!

WWE.com

WWE 205 Live returns to WWE Network tonight (July 2, 2019), live on Tuesday nights, with a show from the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

Advertised for tonight: Lucha House Party looks to get revenge on the Singhs for destroying their beloved piñata, Penelope, in a match with their signature stipulation. They’ll also be building to Extreme Rules Cruiserweight title rematch between champ Drew Gulak and Tony Nese, and following up on Oney Lorcan’s backstage attack on Ariya Daivari, with a trios match pitting Gulak, Daivari and the recently humiliated Mike Kanellis (who also apparently didn’t really quit last week) against Nese, Lorcan and Jack Gallagher.

Come right back here at 10 p.m. ET. We’ll update all the results from 205 Live live as it airs on WWE Network below the line.

Enjoy the show!

  • The show begins with a backstage promo from the babyfaces in our trios main event that concludes with Oney Lorcan talking about how excited he is to give Ariya Daivari more stiches.
  • Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado) over Singh Brothers (Samir & Sunil Singh) by pinfall with stereo dives, a ropewalk elbow from Metalik and a shooting star press from Dorado. (Tornado Tag Team Match)
  • We get a video package for Humberto Carrillo.
  • Mike Kanellis is interviewed backstage. He admits that he’s not emotionally ready after last night but here he is, and as far as his wife Maria goes, she’s not coming to ringside tonight and they’re not exactly talking right now. Last night should have been the happiest moment of his life, but instead, in front of the entire WWE Universe, she called him a disappointment, and quite frankly he is disappointed, but not in himself, but in Drake Maverick, because the rift between them is all his fault. He’s gonna prove to his wife that he’s man enough, and that starts when he wins this match tonight.
  • Jack Gallagher, Oney Lorcan, & Tony Nese over Ariya Daivari, Drew Gulak, & Mike Kanellis by pinfall with the Jig ‘n Tonic from Nese on Kanellis. Lorcan and Daivari fought to the back mid-match.
  • Post-match, Gulak attacks Nese and Oney and Ariya return to ringside as everybody starts brawling!
  • That’s the show, folks!
