Pro wrestling and giants go together like peanut butter and jelly. And while we’ve got a lot of hosses in the business today, with Big Show on winding down his career with a part-timer schedule, there’s not a lot of guys out there carrying on Andre’s legacy. Braun Strowman is an impressive specimen, but is 6’ 8” a giant?

Jordan Omogbehin, the guy WWE signed last October in the class with Matt Riddle, Mia Yim & Chelsea Green who made his in-ring debut at NXT’s Lakeland, Florida house show last night (July 18)?

This guy is a GIANT...

The 25 year old, Nigerian-born Omogbehin is listed as 7’ 3” tall. At that height, it’s not surprising basketball is part of his story. Jordan went to high school in Virginia, and then played college ball for the University of South Florida and Morgan State.

He’s probably pretty green - the video of his 2-on-1 squash of Scott Parker and Shane Matthews (fka 3.0) shows him sticking to basic slams, but NXT has him partnered up with Courtenay Moore (fka Stokely Hathaway) which will certainly help in the personality department:

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Omogbehin to show up on Raw or SmackDown. But 7’ 3” is something you can promote (it’s said to be unteachable, too), and if he shows signs of picking up the in-ring stuff at all, don’t be surprised if he isn’t on a fast track to your screens.
