The Kabuki Warriors earned a shot at the women’s tag team titles by defeating the current champions, The IIconics, in a non-title match in Tokyo late last month. There was no word on when that match would be, however, and Extreme Rules came and went with nary a word.
Now we know!
That match will happen on tonight’s (July 16, 2019) episode of SmackDown Live in Worcester.
In addition, WWE has also revealed Shane McMahon will hold a town hall meeting. The details on that, from WWE.com:
Kevin Owens has made it clear that he is no fan of Shane McMahon in recent weeks, even going so far as to drop Shane-O-Mac with a Stunner. In the aftermath of Owens’ comments last week on SmackDown LIVE and at Extreme Rules, McMahon has vowed to host a town hall meeting to allow Superstars to air any and all complaints and grievances.
What Superstars will speak up?
Sounds interesting enough!
On top of all that, Daniel Bryan will make a “career-altering” announcement and Ember Moon will team up with a mystery partner to take on Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville.
