In contrast to the men’s ten man battle royal later in the night, the fatal four way elimination match between Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Naomi, and Natalya felt like it didn’t have any air in it.
The winner of the four woman match would get their shot at Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. Maybe it is just the booking of all the competitors for the past few months, but nobody really stood out as a clear favorite.
Carmella jumped out to the early lead, but a hiding Bliss snuck back into the ring to roll her up out of nowhere.
The remainder of the match would see Bliss steal the show with her variety of attempts at trying to squeeze in another surprise pin.

After a nearly 20 minute match, in which the Long Island crowd broke out a ‘this is awful’ chant, Natalya pinned Naomi with a folding press following a sunset flip counter.
Down to Alexa vs. Natalya, Nikki Cross took to the mic and demanded the live crowd cheer Bliss. Natalya would take out Cross on the outside and then seize her opportunity. With Bliss on the run, Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter for the win.
After the match, Nattie and Becky went nose to nose and even planted the seeds for some decent trash talk moving forward.

PG-13 Natalya? Okay then.
Natalya has gotten a ton of chances to take the ball and run with it, but maybe being propped up against The Man could bring out the best of the veteran.
Surprised Becky Lynch’s first two feuds after main eventing WrestleMania 35 came against Lacey Evans and Natalya?
