Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have every right to celebrate.
One night after Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules, Heyman and The Beast opened up Monday Night Raw. It was a pretty standard promo from Heyman, including some nice back patting for predicting this very scenario.
Perhaps it was merely a line to disregard, but Heyman did mention in a roundabout way that he is now the Executive Director for Raw.

Is Heyman’s power from a WWE creative perspective going to become an ongoing bullet point every time he hypes up Lesnar on the mic?
The remainder of Heyman’s promo consisted of him hyping up the battle royal to determine who Lesnar will face at SummerSlam.
Whoever wins tonight's Cross-Branded Top 10 All-Star #BattleRoyal on #RAW...will simply get victimized and CONQUERED by #UniversalChampion @BrockLesnar at #SummerSlam! Right, @HeymanHustle? pic.twitter.com/hriebOzUXf

It feels like whenever WWE attempts to break the fourth wall it eventually blows up in their face. Should Paul Heyman’s role backstage become an onscreen talking point?
