WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JULY 15
The creator of what’s now cliché had some funny words to say, “All you little things are incomplete.” Why did he speak of us that way? I don’t cry, not ‘cause I don’t care. It’s very hard to feel the way we used to feel up there. The creator of what’s now cliché wants us little things to cry and feel alone. But don’t lose hope, no. No, don’t feel sad ‘cause it’s a violent world, but there’s still beauty. I’ll take care of you if you take care of me, and I’ll liveblog this here pro wrestling show for y’all, folks.
The show opens with newly crowned Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his entrance, flanked by Paul Heyman as always.
We get a recap of last night’s main event and aftermath and then Paul E does his usual intro for Brock.
He says it amazes him that you tell people the truth but they’d rather hear a lie, and they told us so. Just like he said, Brock Lesnar cashed in in Philadelphia and left as champion, and he talks about their search for a contender at SummerSlam and about how he has all the stroke around here right now, so they’re going to have a battle royal tonight to figure the answer to that question out.
He runs down the entrants in the battle royal-- Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Big E, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley, and Roman Reigns-- and talks about how Lesnar castrated Rollins last night. He says if any of us were to step in the ring with Brock we’d be risking our health and our welfare, because we’re all Brock’s bitches.
Ricochet makes his entrance before Lesnar leaves and the champion stares him down briefly before leaving.
Commentary hypes up our women’s #1 contender’s match as well as Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe and we go to break.
Back from commercial in time for entrances.
During which time, the Usos cut a promo and ask “Pretty Ricky” if he’s ready to help them lock the Revival down in the Uso Penitentiary.

The Club make their way down and Ricochet dives on AJ Styles! Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows beat him down, the Usos make the save, but the Revival join the attack! Back inside, the Usos fight back... SUPERKICK PARTY! Off the ropes, Roode trips Jimmy up and Jey follows, leading the Revival to hit Shatter Machine! Ricochet with a springboard crossbody... PHENOMENAL FOREARM! MAGIC KILLER!

Cedric Alexander wins by pinfall with a victory roll.
We get a Finn Balor promo backstage where he says he doesn’t dwell on the past and prefers to keep moving forward, so he’s looking to earn his title back, and he doesn’t care if he has to go through or over Samoa Joe.
Joe responds, saying unless Finn calls the Celtic heroes of old down to smite him, he’s going to walk out into yet another loss.
He makes his entrance and we go to break.
Back from commercial, Roman Reigns is interviewed backstage.
He says he doesn’t care what anybody says, this is his week, and the only way that he finishes the week off strong is by dominating tonight and going on to reclaim the Universal Championship.
Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe
Balor with a side headlock early, Joe shoots him off and chops him hard in the throat. Back to the headlock, step-up takeover in the corner reversed...
Samoa Joe wins by pinfall with a crucifix pin.
Post-match, Joe beats Balor down more but he escapes the Coquina Clutch into a double stomp and a Sling Blade! Shotgun dropkick... COUP DE GRACE!
Finn’s music glitches, the lights go down, and when they come back up Bray Wyatt, wearing the Fiend mask, has him clutched... SISTER ABIGAIL!
On that note, we go to break.
Back from commercial, Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle check into a hotel under the name Mr. & Mrs. 24/7 Champion.
She takes offense but Drake reassures her that it’s the perfect spot to consummate their marriage, so she turns and tells the man at the counter to give them the most romantic room and the most expensive champagne. Maverick pays in cash and tips generously, and they leave as R-Truth peeks around the corner, referee Darrick Moore in tow.
Truth asks if Hornswoggle is registered and sleight of hands a dollar bill to bribe the guy into looking it up. We cut to backstage at the arena where the Street Profits are watching and speculate as to whether Drake is a virgin or not before hyping up the women’s #1 contender’s match and then the battle royal and again close by singing about how they want the smoke.
Mike Kanellis is backstage ahead of a match against Zack Ryder when Maria rolls up. She says she’s taking the match and he reminds her she’s pregnant, but she says he’s a loser and says she has better odds of winning.

We get another recap of last night’s main event and the fallout thereto.
Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage and says he’s physically and emotionally spent from last night but what hurts most is that he doesn’t have his title. He tells the world that Becky Lynch is one of the toughest people in the world and she’s gonna be okay, but he doesn’t know if she’s gonna be here tonight. He vows to fight anyone and beat anyone until he can fight Brock Lesnar and beat Brock Lesnar.

Kicks to the back, drawing her up, putting her into the corner, putting boots to her, Naomi fires back with a scorpion kick for two!
Cut her off, mat slam, Bliss back in control with a reverse chinlock and she ends up throwing Naomi into Natalya! Nattie rams her into the corner, right hands, sidestep the charge and Alexa’s still in it. Post-match, Neidhart is interviewed and says Alexa sucks and it’s amazing what a difference a year makes and she’s excited to face her friend Becky Lynch in her home country of Canada.
Lynch gets on the mic and limps her way into the ring to make a statement. She doesn’t care that she’s hurting because she came here to fight and nothing makes her happier than fighting, so it’s time to drop the smiles and tell her straight up-- she likes Nattie but she’s not getting a friend when she steps up, and she’ll wipe the floor with her in her home country. And if there’s one thing she’s learned in all this, it’s that she does a lot better in war than in love. Nattie tells her she must not be a very good lover and calls her a bitch, before promising her a war if she wants one.
Randy Orton cuts a promo from a dark room about how he’s gonna win the battle royal and attend to some unfinished business he has with Brock.
Miz makes his entrance to send us to break.
Back from commercial, Miz does his usual introduction for MizTV and introduces his guest, Dolph Ziggler.
Dolph says he wanted to come here and see if the rumors about Miz are true, and the A-Lister presses him, so he accuses Miz of not trying to steal the show anymore and instead just being a corporate yes man. Ziggler needles him about not being on Extreme Rules and Miz fires back that he’d rather not be on the show than lose to Kevin Owens in 17 seconds.
Dolph says Miz has become everything he hates, a walking gimmick logo t-shirt, and everything wrong with this business because all he cares about is fortune and fame... just like his wife! The A-Lister’s had enough and attacks, running Dolph off up the ramp!
We go in Drake Maverick’s hotel room, where he’s scattering rose petals, to send us to break.
Back from commercial, we get a recap of Bray Wyatt’s return, because Raw is three hours long. (Three hours long.)
We join Drake Maverick again as his wife informs him she’s getting into something more comfortable and suggests he do the same. He whips his robe off to reveal the title belt around his waist and says “Daddy’s ready for love!” as she comes out and questions him wearing the title. Room service knocks, and of course it’s referee Darrick Moore pushing the cart.
Renee says she’s got a big surprise as she gets into bed and Drake tells Moore he has to leave now. Darrick takes his room service gear off to reveal his referee shirt as Maverick frantically searches for R-Truth. Truth crawls out from under the cart, schoolboy... NOT ENOUGH! Drake throws the roses at him, Truth with a crossbody on the bed...

Seth Rollins wins, last eliminating Randy Orton to become #1 contender to the WWE Universal Championship.
Paul Heyman gets on the mic and criticizes the announcement of Seth’s victory, doing his own ring announcement in which he talks about how Rollins is going to be victimized and conquered.
Seth gets on the mic and tells him to shut up and step aside so he can speak directly to Lesnar. He says he’s a man possessed and he promises that SummerSlam will look at lot like WrestleMania when he stomps his head into this mat and stands over him as the reigning, defending Universal Champion. He tries to goad Lesnar into fighting him right now, but Brock merely walks up to the ring and beats his chair on the apron.
That’s the show, folks.
