WWE loves to make history, and they were touting the battle royal at Super ShowDown yesterday (June 7) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as the biggest ever. Putting 50 men in at the same time to start the match was enough that Michael Cole told us the ring needed to be reinforced to prevent it from collapsing.
In all that excitement - which doesn’t even factor in the unheralded returns for Sin Cara and AOP - somebody lost count. The match eventually won by Mansoor in King Abdullah Sports City Stadium made even more history than planned. PWInsider points out the 50 man battle royal actually had 51 participants:
- The Miz
- Samoa Joe
- Elias
- Jimmy Uso
- Jey Uso
- Ricochet
- Cesaro
- Shinsuke Nakamura
- Rusev
- Robert Roode
- Ali
- Xavier Woods
- Rowan
- Dash Wilder
- Scott Dawson
- Apollo Crews
- Matt Hardy
- Curt Hawkins
- Zack Ryder
- Ivar
- Erik
- Chad Gable
- Akam
- Rezar
- Jinder Mahal
- Tucker
- Otis
- No Way Jose
- Mojo Rawley
- Curtis Axel
- Bo Dallas
- Titus O’Neil
- EC3
- Shelton Benjamin
- Luke Gallows
- Karl Anderson

- Cedric Alexander
- Buddy Murphy

- Mike Kanellis
- Akira Tozawa

Maybe the weren’t counting EC3, who of course was the first man thrown over the top rope? WWE does seem to have a habit of forgetting he’s on the main roster...
