WWE Super ShowDown results: Finn Balor is still your Intercontinental champion

We don’t see him often, so WWE decided one of the ways to promote its Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia would be to have Finn Balor break out THE DEMON gimmick for his Intercontinental championship match against Andrade.

Spoiler alert.

Still, the match promised to be good, because these two are very good and have proven they can have good matches before. WWE is also clearly high on Andrade, so maybe he could steal the title and get a run going.

Nope.

The match was good, even earning a “this is awesome” chant from the live audience, but it ended the way it was always going to — a Coup de Grace followed by a three count. Balor is still your Intercontinental champion.
