The 24/7 title changed hands at least once during Drake Maverick’s wedding

Bless his bride for allowing her day to be used for our dumb fun. UPDATED: Maybe she didn’t...

On Tuesday, Drake Maverick finally won the 24/7 championship. He was so happy!

It was just the cherry on top of a great week, as he was all set to marry indie wrestler and 2017 Mae Young Classic entrant Renee Michelle a few days later, Just about everyone saw shenanigans coming. And did they ever.

This looks to be the official title change, as R-Truth ruined the post-vow exchange walk back up the aisle for the happy couple...

Since WWE is promoting it, and we know there was a company-licensed referee there to count three (on the train of the bridal gown, no less!)...

That’s probably the lone in-continuity change. But there also may have been another one...

Earlier in the day, Drake tweeted a picture with an old nemesis from their days in Impact. Said nemesis’ father re-tweeted it with a warning:

Whoever has the belt, it’s no longer Drake. They may have taken his title, but they can never take memories like these...

UPDATE: WWE.com is rolling with Truth as champ, so it looks like Nicholas’ record as youngest champ in company history is safe.
