Samoa Joe has his next challenger.
Less than a week away from Stomping Grounds, WWE held a fatal five way elimination match to determine who will face Joe for the US title on Sunday. Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Ricochet and The Miz all had their moments during what quickly became one the better Raw matches in recent weeks.
The early portion of the match was dominated by Strowman’s story. Cesaro was the first man eliminated, but not before the Swiss Superman was able to show his strength.

After The Monster Among Men got the best of Cesaro and Lashley, the two eliminated heels went back into the ring and took out Strowman with their finishers. Ricochet would take advantage and knock Strowman from the match.

With just Ricochet and Miz left in the ring, to the surprise of some, it was the recent NXT call-up who took control of the remainder of the match.

Despite battling through a leg injury, Ricochet was still able to hit his second 630 splash of the match and defeat The Miz.
This Sunday at Stomping Grounds, does Ricochet win his first title on the main roster or does Samoa Joe keep the belt?
