More main roster talent followed Tyler Breeze to NXT (SPOILERS)

Triple H has been talking about the road from NXT to the main roster not being a one-way street for a while, but we’re finally starting to see a lot of traffic in the southbound lane.

Tyler Breeze returned and got a title match at TakeOver: XXV, and at the tapings which took place on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, he was joined by three other performers who’ve spent varying amounts of time on Raw and SmackDown - including one who’s been “up” so long he never worked the Full Sail/WWE Network era of NXT.

And it’s someone Breeze knows pretty well. That’s right, Fandango’s wish came true...

The Fashion Police reunion was a highlight, mostly because it marked Dango’s return from injury - and because neither of the other returnees have a WrestleMania win over Chris Jericho. But Killian Dain is someone who’s been rumored to be on his way back to the Performance Center for more than a month. And he was among the final men in WrestleMania 33’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Now that he’s shown up, he’s gone right into a feud with Matt Riddle...

It’s unclear if the final wrestler with main roster cred who worked this week’s Full Sail tapings is back for good. Kushida’s NXT run so far has been all about him beating indie veterans, so this might just be a one-off like Kassius Ohno’s return from NXT UK or Drew Gulak’s visit from 205 Live. But seeing as everyone thought Apollo Crews’ call-up came too soon, and then his main roster run kind of confirmed that, a return to the black-and-gold brand certainly wouldn’t hurt his career at this point...

None of these men has a TakeOver: Toronto 2 match set (yet), and we’ll have to wait until after that Sat., Aug. 10 show to see if they’re used further on television. But we’ll keep an eye on house show reports to see if they’re used there.
