Brock Lesnar hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV in 15 years

Brock Lesnar WWE

Paul Heyman announced today that Brock Lesnar will cash in his Money in the Bank contract on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw on Universal Champion Seth Rollins. They did not specify exactly when, a clear ploy for ratings, but we can be certain a match is going to happen.

Which is kind of a big deal, considering it will be the first match Lesnar has wrestled on a WWE television show in a very, very long time.

In fact, according to CageMatch.net, he hasn’t wrestled on Raw or SmackDown since his return back in 2012. It’s 2019! He has managed to stick around this long without ever actually wrestling on either of the weekly television shows. Per Cage Match, his last TV match was all the way back in 2004.

What’s even better is it’s entirely possible he’ll cash in after Rollins works a match against someone else, meaning he could work 10-15 seconds at most.

I’m somehow both shocked by this — come on, not wrestling on TV at all in a company like WWE is mind boggling — and not at all surprised — I mean, it is Brock Lesnar. Still, it’s 15 years!
