There have been many wrestlers through the years who have been criminally underrated, for whatever reason. R-Truth is one of those wrestlers. He’s great for a number of reasons, not least of which is his ability to take something incredibly dumb and make it fun.
Pro wrestling, basically.
That makes him perfect for the WWE 24/7 championship, a title that lends itself to comedy more than anything else. The latest example of that showcases the very best of Truth:

That’s Truth responding to Heath Slater trying to get him to grill out. Truth makes it work in a way few others could. It could be cheesy, but instead it’s just plain silly, and because it’s Truth, it’s hilarious.
He’s so good, in fact, I almost want the ultimate swerve to be that never actually loses a title designed to change hands as often as possible.
