That was unexpected.
After being away from WWE since the Royal Rumble, Dolph Ziggler picked his spot and pounced on a distracted Kofi Kingston. Tonight (May 21) on SmackDown, Kingston picked up a win over Sami Zayn. Post-match, Paul Heyman walked out and teased a Money in the Bank cash-in for Brock Lesnar.
With Kingston’s back turned, Ziggler ran through the crowd and attacked the WWE Champion.

Ziggler didn’t just beat-up Kingston, he laid the New Day member out until he was taken off on a stretcher.
When fans last heard from Ziggler, there was talk of a ‘handshake agreement’ between the veteran and WWE. Last month in an interview, Ziggler said he was still on vacation from WWE.
So after a four month absence, Dolph Ziggler is back on SmackDown. Assuming he gets a title match with Kofi Kingston, where does The Show-Off fit within WWE?
