Report: Ric Flair’s surgery was a success

When word got out earlier today that Ric Flair would be pulling out of Starrcast due to his ongoing health issues, it caused great concern. This came after word got out last week that he was rushed to the hospital — which may or may not have been accurate, at least the “rushed” part — to address “complications.”

Finally, though, some good news.

Indeed, TMZ is now reporting that Flair underwent successful surgery today, per his wife, Wendy. The surgery was supposed to happen last week but because of the aforementioned complications was pushed off to today. Other reports have indicated it was heart surgery, but TMZ is saying the type of surgery is “unclear.”

Either way, doctors believe he’ll make a full recovery and we can all be a little less concerned about the health of the beloved “Nature Boy.”
