Roughly 20 - 30% of the tweets and comments I saw after WWE ended their 2019 Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) with Brock Lesnar sitting atop a ladder clutching a briefcase were some variation on “AEW can’t get here soon enough”. Another 15 - 20% were “F*** this company”. The rest were Game of Thrones related, but that’s besides the point.
Point is, Chris Jericho knew that sentiment was out there without having to check social media. Y2J’s been positioning himself as an outsider for decades now, and knows that tweets like this one will play very well to his - and All Elite Wrestling’s - base:
Awesome to see @BrockLesnar win the #MoneyInTheBank match...even though he wasn’t officially entered! Brock is the future of the biz and this perfect example of genius booking shows why @WWE will remain on top FOREVER! #GoBrockGo

Alls fair in love and war. Even trolling.
