Maybe the biggest takeway here is that the Bella Twins have a podcast.
On the newest episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki and Brie do their own version of the Rumor Roundup with their guest, current SmackDown star Carmella. In 2018, after Mella cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase, one low-key rumor surfaced that never gained much traction.
During one of the rounds of Nikki Bella-John Cena news, it was rumored that Carmella dated Cena during one of the couple’s break-ups. On the “Does Being in a Bikini Make You Dumber?” episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki flatly asked Carmella if she in fact dated her ex.
Nikki: Did you date my ex?
Carmella: Oh my God.
Brie: That was everywhere.
Carmella: That is the most insane rumor, because at the time that was when I broke up with my ex. And because John lives in Tampa, I lived in Tampa. Apparently he was seen out at a bar or something, so people just assumed ‘oh Carmella lives in Tampa. She must have been at that same bar’. It was so insane. I don’t know how you did it for so long.
Nikki: So tough and I never even asked because I knew. John and I were still talking at that point. We even talked about the rumors everywhere.
Carmella: Where do they come up with this ****?
