Intercontinental title match set for WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia

Most of the matches on the WWE Super ShowDown card, scheduled for June 7, 2019, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, were clearly done as spectacle matches that have little to no build. They’ve just sort of announced them and hoped the names would carry the day.

Finally, we’ve got something meaningful!

Indeed, WWE has announced that Finn Balor will defend the Intercontinental championship against Andrade. And not just Balor, but “The Demon.”

This started during the Superstar Shake-up, when Andrade originally came over to Monday Night Raw and defeated Balor before the latter switched to SmackDown Live and returned the favor. When Andrade was moved back to the blue brand, it paved the way for the feud to continue.
