The Money in the Bank briefcase gimmick works far better with a heel than a babyface, and considering the current champions on both brands, Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston, are babyfaces, Rose and McIntyre winning sounds about right. Plus, it’s been clear for a while now that Vince McMahon sees great potential in both and they’ve mostly been protected over the past year or so.
The briefcase is played out, of course, but becoming champion sure as hell isn’t.
