One Superstar gets a new name, another returns from main roster in eventful NXT house show match

New, comments

Killian Dain’s return to NXT looks to be official, and recent signee Stokely Hathaway - who just got his first WWE name, Court Moore - took on a new WWE name last night (May 16) in Tampa. And it happened in the same match!

Plans for the Irish big man to return to the black-and-gold brand were reported shortly after his faction with Eric Young & Alexander Wolfe ended at last month’s Superstar Shake-up. It was believed then he would work the May 8 taping at Full Sail, but with TakeOver: XXV coming up a week earlier than planned, the focus was on getting matches lined up for that June 1 show. Instead, he re-debuted last night.

Hathaway/Moore/Bivens? Who knows! It’s doubtful this is a Viking Raiders situation - main roster creative isn’t paying attention to managers who haven’t even debuted on WWE Network yet. More likely this is the artist formerly known as Big Stoke doing what he does best... keeping the internet’s attention.

We’ll see what the future holds for Dain (he has a match with Kassius Ohno lined up for tonight’s house show in St. Petersburg), and what Malcolm Bivens is calling himself (or his client, Jonah Rock, who is currently going by Jermaine Haley) whenever they show up on Wednesday nights.
