Former Impact X-Division and Tag Team champ Michael “DJZ” Paris’ WWE signing was reported a few months back. Word he’d be starting at the company’s Orlando Performance Center soon began circulating earlier this month.
The company officially announced today (May 14) that the 32 year old cruiserweight joined their roster
Paris, also known as Shiima Xion and Zema Ion, has wrestled all over the world since debuting in the Rust Belt in the mid-aughts. He’s worked with numerous wrestlers and producers currently employed at all levels of WWE, like Robert “Robbie E” Strauss, Sonjay Dutt, Brian Kendrick, Tony Nese, Drake “Rockstar Spud” Maverick, Trevor Lee, and Mike Kanellis.
WWE hypes him as being part of their recent wave of acquisitions like Kushida, Shane Strickland and Humberto Garza, but makes no mention of their plans for him.
Give us your guesses, and let us know if you’re hyped to see DJZ in WWE, below.
