WWE 205 Live returns to WWE Network tonight (May 14, 2019), live on Tuesday nights, with a show from the O2 Arena in London.
Actually, this week’s show is live on tape. You can get spoilers for everything that happened at today’s SmackDown taping here.
Advertised for tonight: A Worlds Collide-type affair, with Cruiserweight champ Tony Nese facing Ligero, and Jack Gallagher, Humberto Carrillo, Mark Andrews & James Drake in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
Come right back here at 10 p.m. ET. We’ll update all the results from 205 Live live as it airs on WWE Network below the line.
Enjoy the show!
- Drake Maverick takes the show opening promo duties back over and hypes up our card for tonight’s show.
- Humberto Carrillo over Jack Gallagher, James Drake, and Mark Andrews by pinfall with a side folding press on Gallagher.
- Post-match, Carrillo and Gallagher shake hands.
- Ariya Daivari gets a promo from inside a tanning bed where he says Tony Nese is running himself ragged while he’s here getting a tan and massages and coming into their match nice and fresh.
- Nese is interviewed backstage and he says the smart thing isn’t always the right thing and he could have taken it easy but the WWE Universe expects more from the Cruiserweight Champion. And as champion, he’s proud to carry on the tradition of the stars of 205 Live wrestling the stars of NXT UK and face off against El Ligero tonight.
- Speaking of Ligero, we get a vignette introducing him for those of you who aren’t familiar with the hardest-working man in the UK. (Seriously, go look at his match totals by year on Cagematch, dude never slows down.)
- Lucha House Party get a handcam promo in front of somebody’s music collection and they accept the Singh Brothers’ challenge for next week.
- Tony Nese over El Ligero by pinfall with the running knee.
- Post-match my Network starts getting glitchy but when I reload it Ariya Daivari is standing tall over Nese and draping the title over him, so easy enough to infer what happened there.
- That’s the show, folks.
