Sami Zayn upsets Braun Strowman, takes his spot in Money in the Bank ladder match

Sami Zayn is an evil genius.

At the behest of Shane McMahon and as punishment for last week, Zayn got Braun Strowman to put his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match on the line this week on Raw. Then Zayn got the match to be a falls count anywhere match.

To top it all off, Zayn went out and pulled off the upset.

How? Well Zayn had a plan and The Monster Among Men did not.

The early portion of the match played out exactly how you thought it would, with Strowman dominating Zayn from pillar to post. Zayn found an opening when the falls count anywhere match moved into the stands, then into the concessions area.

Then Baron Corbin showed up.

Then Drew McIntyre showed up.

Thanks to that damn numbers game, Zayn would eventually get the best of Strowman and roll on top of him for the three count.

So of course after the match, Strowman put Zayn through a table while McIntyre and Corbin just ditched their newfound partner in crime.

Sami Zayn won tonight on Raw and will replace Braun Strowman at Money in the Bank. Zayn won the battle but, there is a 100% chance The Monster Among Men ruins the Canadian's special night on Sunday, right?
