Ronda Rousey was at the FOX Upfront presentation on behalf of WWE, to promote SmackDown

Ronda Rousey, who spent the entirety of her year with WWE as a member of the Raw roster, and most of that time as the Raw women’s champion, has been off since she lost that title in the main event of WrestleMania 35. That was in part to heal a broken hand and in part a break to start a family with her husband, Travis Browne. It’s entirely possible, then, she simply doesn’t return.

Then, just today, this:

That may not mean all that much, considering reports have suggested FOX wants a more sporting presentation and Rousey may have been at least partially responsible for the two sides striking such a major deal in the first place. If her family plans don’t plan out the way she hopes, perhaps a move to the blue brand come October — or even later — is in the cards.

Or maybe she’s just there to help promote WWE because she’s off and the rest of the crew is overseas on tour. Then again, she wasn’t sent to the NBC Upfronts to promote Raw.
