What are the odds we get this women’s tag match on next week’s SmackDown?

WWE’s YouTube channel

On the May 7 episode of SmackDown LIVE, the long-simmering angle pitting Paige against her former Absolution mates Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose led to the Anti-Diva laying down a challenge to the duo now known as Fire & Desire. Next week, Paige’s new team - Asuka & Kairi Sane - are supposed to start the process of ripping through the tag division by wrestling her old one, Rose & Deville:

Do we think that’ll actually happen?

Long-term planning hasn’t been WWE’s strong suit in, well, let’s just say a while now. Announced-in-advance women’s matches get dropped or changed so often it’s practically a running joke at this point. The champions of the women’s tag division didn’t make it on TV last week and don’t have a feud set up, despite having held the belts for more than a month.

I’m guessing there’s no better than a 50/50 chance we see Asuka & Sane vs. Deville & Rose on May 14 in London.

Place your bets.
