This isn’t a monumental spoiler, and I expect WWE will probably make the announcement themselves before the episode in which it occurs airs (likely next Weds., May 8). But if you want to wait for news from The ‘E itself or next week’s show, you’ve been warned...
At the start of the May 1 taping at Full Sail Live, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix was introduced as a new member of the black-and-gold brand’s announce team. She’ll join Mauro Ranallo & Nigel McGuinness on the weekly call. No word on the fate of the person she’s replacing, Percy Watson, but he’s also done commentary for 205 Live and could be moving there full-time. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for word on Showtime, who in my opinion has improved greatly since he debuted and turned into a solid announcer.

We most recently saw Phoenix wrestling in the Women’s Tag title 4Way at WrestleMania 35, and she’s supposed to be going on the upcoming European tour, too. But commentary isn’t a new role for Beth, either. She’s called several shows and matches, including this latest Mae Young Classic tournament and the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble.

It’s definitely an indicator the Glamazon is staying in the WWE fold, and that the company is looking to groom more female talent for their announce team as they roll forward with their Women’s Evolution.
