WWE SmackDown Live ratings (April 30, 2019): Also terrible

WWE.com

Raw: We’ve hit a record low for a non-holiday episode!

SmackDown LIVE: Hold our beer.

The blue brand’s April 30 episode only drew 1,833,000 viewers, down 239K from last week and even lower than its recent Christmas and New Year Day’s episodes. In fact, it’s the smallest audience since the show went live on Tuesdays three years ago. More than that, it’s the worst number SmackDown’s ever had on USA Network, even dating back to when it was tape delayed for the first half of 2016. You have to go all the way back to New Year’s Eve 2015 on SyFy to find a smaller viewership number.

There was plenty of competition, including playoff games in two sports, and a familiar foe & its new spin-off on The History Channel. But still. SmackDown was the 13th most watched cable original, behind two basketball playoff games, TNT’s Inside The NBA studio show, Curse of Oak Island & Curse of Civil War Gold, and the usual MSNBC & Fox News political talk.

Ratings were also abysmal. WWE’s .54 share of the overall 18 - 49 year old audience was 7th best on the night, behind the three NBA broadcasts, a hockey playoff game, Oak Island and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. That figure matches their low from the July 3, 2018 episode.

Don’t look to Miz & Mrs for good news, either. With it’s lead-in tanking, the A-List family was down 100K viewers to 840,000. It was also down to a .28 rating.

Here’s a list of the blue brand’s not-as-bad-as-these numbers from the past six months:
