Full spoilers from NXT’s May 1, 2019 tapings at Full Sail

WWE.com

What’s next for NXT? It’s a question on everyone’s mind, especially since we still don’t officially know about their next event following last month’s TakeOver: New York. The black-and-yellow brand films at their home base of Full Sail Live on Weds., May 1 for shows which should finally tell us when the next live special will be, and tell us some of the matches which will take place there.

We’ll start seeing the action taped tonight next week during NXT’s regular Wednesday night series on WWE Network.

What do Triple H and team have in store for us? Join us as we start updating results live when as they roll in from Winter Park, Florida after the scheduled 6:30PM Eastern bell time:

  • Beth Phoenix replaces Percy Watson on commentary!
  • Trevor Lee over Shane Strickland in what is likely a dark match.
  • Viking Raiders come out for a promo segment where they say that since they’ve started raiding Raw they can’t see anyone in NXT beating them, so they want William Regal to come out and accept their vacation of the titles. This brings both him and the Street Profits out, and the Profits challenge the Raiders to a title match tonight, which Regal books.
  • Keith Lee over Cezar Bononi
  • KUSHIDA over Kona Reeves. During the match, Drew Gulak came out to scout KUSHIDA, so that’ll be great when it happens.
  • Vanessa Borne over Jessie.
  • Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) (NXT Tag Team Championship) ends in a disqualification when Forgotten Sons come out to brawl. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan join the fray and when the fracas is over, Viking Raiders leave the title belts in the ring, so one assumes that they really are vacating and moving up full-time.
  • Xia Li over Rachel Evers.
  • Undisputed ERA come out for a promo segment. Adam Cole says they’re stronger than ever, and at TakeOver, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly will win the tag titles while he wins the NXT Championship from Johnny Gargano. Gargano comes out and says he can have his match but Adam knows he lost their match in New York.
  • A brawl breaks out and Matt Riddle makes the save, helping Johnny fend Undisputed ERA off, and they stand tall together.
  • Mansoor over Sean Maluta.
  • Velveteen Dream gets a promo segment where he says he’s in high demand right now, and on cue, Tyler Breeze interrupts. Breeze says NXT has become full of knockoffs and poor imitations since he left but there’s only one Prince Pretty. VD replies that NXT wants real men and he can’t just come back home because he can’t hack it on the main roster. Breeze wants a title shot, Dream offers him a selfie instead, he accepts and uses it as a chance to sneak attack VD!
  • 3.0 make their debut as Team 3.0!
  • Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) over Team 3.0 (Jeff Parker & Matt Lee) (Hat tip to JBL’s Other Boy for providing 3.0’s WWE ring names!)
  • A four-way for the vacant tag titles is announced for TakeOver— Undisputed vs. Street Profits vs. Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan vs. Forgotten Sons.
  • Candice LeRae over Reina Gonzalez.
  • Post-match, Shayna Baszler and the horse ladies attack Candice but Io Shirai makes the save with a handy dandy kendo stick!
  • Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) over Johnny Gargano & Matt Riddle with some help from Cole and Roderick Strong. Post-match Undisputed beat the babyfaces down.
  • Mia Yim over Bianca Belair.
  • KUSHIDA over Drew Gulak. Post-match Drew argues that he actually kicked out.
  • Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan vs. Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake) ends in a DQ because Street Profits run in and return the favor from earlier. Undisputed ERA end up running in and beating everyone down with a ladder.

There you have it, folks
