Sasha Banks has the internet worried

Sasha Banks was teased as a possible opponent for Alexa Bliss on Raw last night (April 8) in Brooklyn. The Goddess got the other half of the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (who’d also been mentioned) instead, but Bliss renewed her beef with Banks on Twitter around pinning Bayley on television.

As we’ve pointed out, lots of big names weren’t booked on the Raw after WrestleMania this year, so it’s not shocking Sasha didn’t appear. But she was supposed to be a guest on The Wendy Williams Show today, but tweeted this morning she wouldn’t make it for “personal reasons”:

There are reports from gossip sites that Williams and her people are “fuming” about the short notice cancellation. But her fans are worried, and WWE fans are curious, about those “personal reasons”.

The “If You Only Knew” hashtag is identical to one Beth Phoenix used when retweeting Natalya’s photo of the Divas of Doom from the WrestleMania 35 match where The IIconics won the Women’s Tag Team titles from Banks & Bayley on Sunday night:

Sasha retweeted that herself in-between announcing the Williams’ cancellation and this longer message, which is of course being interpreted as a sign The Boss is unhappy with her WWE booking. Whether it’s actually that or something else? Who knows?

“There is something about the way life happens today that makes it hard to look ahead. There are things that make it difficult to laugh; difficult to live the way you want. There are things that make it almost impossible to trust where you are, or to believe in where you want to be. You look around and life is happening way too fast. Sometimes it feels like the moments are gone. Everything happens all at once and right away. We’re marching towards a destiny we cannot understand, towards the kingdom of convenient. Then one day you look up and you can’t find the meaning. Your crisis of purpose and passion is acting up, but they tell you that that’s suppose to be normal. Well… I don’t want normal, I want magic; cause that’s the place that feels like home to me. That’s the place where I remember what dreams look like, where meaning is effortless, and purpose is simple. That’s the place where love still matters. I want that feeling of coming home again. I want to feel like myself…. I want that magic”

Hopefully, there’s nothing more serious going on here besides maybe just stirring the internet pot or minor creative differences. Whatever it is, though, expect lots of speculation.
