The Revival manage to lose to Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins two nights in a row

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins achieved a lifelong dream of winning a title at WrestleMania this past weekend. Sure, it was the Raw tag team titles and it happened on the WrestleMania 35 pre-show, but it was at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, so it was kind of a big deal for them.

Plus, Hawkins finally broke his historic losing streak!

But while automatic rematches were thought to be a thing of the past, The Revival were given one on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Brooklyn, New York. Knowing Ryder’s history — he won the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 32 before losing it the very next evening — and how much of a loser Hawkins has been since coming to WWE, it was almost expected they would drop the titles right back to Dash and Dawson.

Shockingly enough, they didn’t.

Indeed, Hawkins managed to sneak in a sly tag to Ryder and surprise Dawson with a roll up after a Shatter Machine on Ryder that got a three count. That gives him two straight victories, at two major shows.

He’s on a new streak, folks!
