Seth Rollins says he’ll be a fighting Universal champion

Seth Rollins spent the majority of his run up to WrestleMania 35 talking down Brock Lesnar for never being around, and the effect that has on the Universal championship he was holding. Well, now Rollins holds that title after winning it in their match at MetLife Stadium last night (Sun., April 7, 2019) in New Jersey and he’s got plans to go the opposite direction.

From his post-match interview:

”My plan is to do what I said I was going to do when I told the world I was going to beat Brock Lesnar and that’s to go out every single week and be the champion the WWE Universe deserves. If that means defending the title every week, if that means defending it on every live event, every pay-per-view, it doesn’t matter, I’m going to be there. All challengers are welcome. I’m going to be a fighting champion. I’m going to be a champion that the people deserve.”

That should be a welcome change from hardly ever seeing the title like we did when Lesnar was around.

Who is down for some open challenges?
