WrestleMania 35 results: The Usos are still your SmackDown tag team champions

@WrestleMania

When The Usos forfeited to The New Day in a Gauntlet match designed to ensure Kofi Kingston didn’t get a shot at the WWE championship, they were punished for it by being placed in a Fatal 4-Way match for their SmackDown tag team titles at the biggest show of the year. Indeed, they took on The Bar, Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura, and Aleister Black & Ricochet at tonight’s (Sun., April 7, 2019) WWE WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view (PPV) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

It didn’t matter.

The rules of a Fatal 4-Way tag match dictate a team can tag itself in by simply slapping any legal man on the back, so it was chaotic right from the get go. For that matter, simply having this many people involved ensured chaos all throughout.

But it was damn good fun.

Ricochet, in particular, was doing plenty to make it special, like breaking up a pinfall attempt with a shooting star press. He hit the 630 late but literally everyone broke it up. There were points it was difficult just to know who the legal man was.

In the end, following a series of finishers, it was Jimmy and Jey Uso left standing tall, having double superkicked and double splashed Sheamus to score the pin to retain their titles.
