WrestleMania 35 results: The Demon Finn Balor wins the Intercontinental title

Look the important thing that happened here is that Finn Balor looked like he was either floating or 20 feet tall when he appeared through the fog at MetLife Stadium at 11:30 eastern on Sun. April 7. Intercontinental champ Bobby Lashley met that with some colored contacts.

The Demon caught Lashley off-guard at the start, but it didn’t last. In fact, after being whipped into the barricade and hit with two spears, it seemed the mystique of Finn’s alter ego was going to be dispelled.

But Finn kicked out at two, and a shocked All Mighty never recovered. A minute later, the Coup de Grace gave us a new Intercontinental champion.
