WWE’s been slow rolling our the inductors for this year’s Hall of Fame honorees. And maybe there’s something to the rumors they were considering doing away with that role this year, since the pair they’ve announced so far - just a day away from the ceremony on Sat., April 6 at Barclays Center - are pretty much no-brainers.
Yesterday we learned Hulk Hogan would induct his lifelong friend Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. Today, they’ve revealed Jimmy Hart will introduce The Honky Tonk Man.
The Mouth of the South was HTM’s manager for the most famous stretch of his career - the 454 days he spent as a cowardly heel Intercontinental champ during 1987 - 1988.
We’ll see what, and for how long, Jimmy speaks on his old client tomorrow night.
