As you can see in the above video, the Quad Cities own Seth Rollins dropped in on the NXT house show in Davenport, Iowa last night (Fri., April 26).
Rollins is, of course, not only the current Universal champion, and a WWE Grand Slam champ, he was he first ever NXT champion. The Architect’s time in Triple H’s developmental territory-turned-global brand actually pre-dates its current name... when he started there, it was still just Florida Championship Wrestling.
Seth didn’t run an angle or get involved in any matches, and it’s not like he had to travel far to get to the show since he lives and owns a couple businesses in the area. But it was a big main roster star working on what otherwise would have been a night off - and that’s not something we’d have seen the former Universal champion doing.
