Are you ready for yet another feud pitting Roman Reigns versus a set of authority figures?
Sure Elias was on SmackDown, but it feels like WWE leaned hard into a future match between Reigns and Shane McMahon. This week, SmackDown opened with McMahon trying to defend the honor of his father.
Last week, Reigns’ first action after switching from Raw to SmackDown was to punch Vince McMahon right in the face. Bold strategy.
During his show opening promo, McMahon hypocritically questioned what kind of man would hit someone’s father. After Shane’s monologue, Reigns came down to the ring not looking to talk, but to fight another McMahon.
