WWE 205 Live returns to WWE Network tonight (April 23, 2019), live on Tuesday nights, with a show from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Advertised for tonight: Drew Gulak is determined to teach Humberto Carrillo how to be a proper ground-based grappler, but his methods have driven a rift between the Philadelphia Stretcher and his partner, Gentleman Jack Gallagher. Gulak and Carrillo go one-on-one tonight, and all eyes will be on how the Brit responds.

• Daivari gets a matching promo about his success since changing his attitude and the undefeated streak he’s running all year. He doesn’t care who it is, nobody but nobody’s going to keep him from becoming the next WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
• Drake Maverick is chatting with Maria and Mike Kanellis backstage when Brian Kendrick rolls up. He blames Maria for his boy Tozawa losing last week but she says Akira had better look in the mirror. Kendrick again says he just wants to talk and Tozawa can do his own fighting and he was just the distraction anyways.
• AKIRA TOZAWA JUMPS MIKE KANELLIS AND BEATS HIM DOWN UNTIL REFEREE MIKE CHIODA AND ROAD AGENT SONJAY DUTT PULL HIM OFF!
• Ariya Daivari over Oney Lorcan by pinfall with a Pepsi Twist to become #1 contender to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
• Post-match Tony Nese offers Daivari a handshake but Ariya simply says he wants the title, so Nese invites him to try taking it.
