We already knew Ronda Rousey would be going on hiatus from WWE to “try to start a family” with her husband, Travis Browne. We also knew she broke her hand at WrestleMania 35. In her latest video blog, she confirms both things herself, while also providing an update on what the future could hold.
In short: lots of the sex, and who knows what else.
As she put it:
“I got two pins in my hand. This comes off in four weeks. Then me and my lovely husband are planning on vacationing around the world and very much enjoying ourselves until we are with child.
...
”As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first. I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby — I could look down at this beautiful child and be like ‘fuck everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby, and you’ll never see me again.’ Or, I could be like my mom, who, she trained while she was eight months pregnant and then won the US Open six weeks after giving birth, which was unbelievable. I don’t think I’m going to try to aspire to her level but I’m just saying, you never know. The thing is, I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m going to feel in the future. So, yeah, just thank you, everybody, for the support. I had the most amazing time this year. I am also looking forward to a little bit of a rest and some mommy/daddy time.”
So we won’t be seeing her again, unless we do.
