NXT UK spoilers (April 19 - 20, 2019): Debuting main roster star, title bouts, new faction

WWE.com

NXT UK is still working to gain a foothold in the crowded pro wrestling marketplace, but even fans who don’t have time for another hour or two of graps every week still want to stay informed. And in Glasgow last weekend (Fri, April 19 & Sat., April 20), Triple H’s newest territory filmed a bunch of upcoming episodes which included a big debut and lots of championship action.

The below are from both days’ tapings at Scotland’s Braehead Arena.

Night One

- Kassius Ohno def. Oliver Carter (dark match)

- Four qualifying matches are announced, with the winners entering a Fatal 4Way to determine the new #1 contender for the United Kingdom title.

- Moustache Mountain def. Primate & Wild Boar

- Joe Coffey def. Flash Morgan Webster in a Fatal 4Way Qualifier

- Nina Samuels def. Kasey Owens, then cut a promo on NXT UK Women’s champ Toni Storm

- WALTER def. Pete Dunne to retain the UK title; Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel interfered to help the Ring General keep his belt.

- Viper def. Jamie Hayter

- Jordan Devlin def. El Ligero in a Fatal 4Way Qualifier

- Ilja Dragunov def. Jack Starz

- Xia Brookside vs. Killer Kelly ended in a no contest when Jinny & Jazzy Gabert interfered

- Dave Mastiff def. Wolfgang in a Fatal 4Way Qualifier; Gallus jumped the winner after the match ended.

- Rhea Ripley got some mic time to keep her feud with Viper going

- Grizzled Young Veterans def. Noam Dar & Kenny Williams to retain the NXT UK Tag titles

- Gallus attacked Dar & Williams before Moustache Moutain make the save. That set up a likely dark match where the face team of Noam, Kenny, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate def. Zack Gibson, James Drake, Mark Coffey & Wolfgang to close night one of the taping.

Night two

- Kenny Williams def. BT Gunn (dark match)

- WALTER, Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel open the show with a promo where they announce they’ll now be known as “Imperium”. British Strong Style attack, and a six-man is announced for later.

- Gallus def. Team White Wolf (A-Kid & Carlos Romo)

- Toni Storm def. Nina Samuels to retain her NXT UK Women’s title

- Wild Boar & Primate def. Saxon Huxley & Tyson T-Bone

- Imperium def. British Strong Style; a run-in by Alexander Wolfe led to WALTER’s team winning, and the former SAnitY member is officially with the UK champ’s WWE version of Ringkampf. WWE.com has reported on Wolfe joining NXT UK. Unsurprisingly, this is said to be the must-see match of the night.

- Kay Lee Ray def. Kasey Owens

- Noam Dar def. Mark Andrews

- Grizzled Young Vets announce they’ll defend their NXT Tag titles at Download Festival

- Jazzy Gabert & Jinny def. Xia Brookside & Isla Dawn

- Ilja Dragunov def. Joseph Conners

- Travis Banks def. Jordan Devlin, Joe Coffey & Dave Mastiff to become the #1 contender for the United Kingdom championship
