Oh, man.
WWE released the above behind-the-scenes look at this past week’s Superstar Shake-up, where the company uproots the lives of a select group of its talent roster by completely rearranging their work schedule and, in the case of Liv Morgan, breaking up a tight knit group of friends.
Morgan is headed to SmackDown while Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan are staying on Raw. In the above video, she’s interviewed after finding out about it and she’s in tears:
“I know I look really sad, and I am a little bit sad, but I’m happy. I didn’t expect Ruby and Sarah to just become such a huge part of my life, like my best friends and my sisters. Now that I’m on this road with them, I can’t imagine ever getting off of it. I’m excited for the opportunities, you know, for them and for me. I just wish that we could be together forever.”
Later, Drake Maverick and Ember Moon are seen consoling her while giving her advice on how to move forward. She’s managing to keep her spirits up:
“The only thing good is now I have to call SmackDown Live ‘SmackDown Liv’ again.”
“That’s awesome,” Maverick responds.
Indeed.
