The WrestleMania 35 go home episode of SmackDown was overtaken by KofiMania.
In a stark contrast to Raw’s main event segment one night earlier, the contract signing between WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and challenger Kofi Kingston was how SmackDown chose to close out Tuesday night.
Both men were at their best. Bryan was snarky and got the live crowd in Baltimore, Maryland riled up like only he could. Bryan was so good at being a condescending jerk, he almost set the bar too high for the overlooked underdog to clear.
When the mic was passed to Kingston he stood word for word with the WWE Champion and cut one of the best promos of his WWE career, prior to the biggest match of his 11 year run with the company.

“You claim to be what I am. You claim to be me. You claim to know what I am feeling. The more I hear you talk, the more I realize you don’t know a damn thing about me.”
Heading into WrestleMania 35, is Kofi Kingston the most over wrestler in WWE? Because it kind of feels like he is.
