The strange saga of Dean Ambrose continued after the cameras stopped rolling for the final Raw before WrestleMania 35 last night (April 1).
And actually, after Fastlane’s Shield reunion and another round of putting Drew McIntyre over heading into his ‘Mania match with Roman Reigns capped an effective few weeks for the Lunatic and his soon-to-be-ex-bosses at WWE, using Ambrose in a dark match segment to send the Washington, D.C. crowd home happy isn’t that strange a decision at all.
Dean showed up to add insult to injury after Baron Corbin was the victim of a Kurt Angle ankle lock OUT OF NOWHERE, probably while a replay of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey’s run-in with the keystone cops was airing on USA Network:
There are no announced plans to use Ambrose at WrestleMania on April 7 at MetLife Stadium. He’s still advertised for some house show dates, but according to all involved, he’s still set to depart WWE when his contract expires later this month.
So if you want to see him, live or on Instagram may be your only options... for the next few months, anyway.
