Lars Sullivan calls fans ‘triggered’, deletes tweet in odd social media strategy

New, comments

Can an unstoppable monster heel work in 2019? Well, what if that monster was also socially conscious?

The Lars Sullivan experiment is now in full swing on the WWE main roster.

Sullivan’s path to appearing on both Raw and SmackDown had a few hiccups along the way. Reportedly scheduled for a big push prior to the 2019 Royal Rumble, Sullivan’s debut was apparently delayed due to anxiety issues. The former NXT monster would finally appear on Raw for the first time on the April 8th episode.

Today (Apr. 18), Sullivan took to social with a message that he would later delete from Twitter.

Sullivan’s last tweet before the now deleted message was from last Friday.

It should be noted, according to his bio, Lars’ Twitter account is supposedly run by someone named William Christensen. Sometimes the account will sign a tweet with ‘WC’, other times it will not.

Overall from what WWE fans have seen of Sullivan on television the last few weeks, calling the WWE Universe ‘triggered’ just feels way out of left field. Also, if the Lars character was going to add that sort of wrinkle to him, then why delete the message?

Officially a member of the SmackDown roster after the Superstar Shake-up, how far up the card will Lars climb in 2019?
