Shane Strickland, Garza Jr. join Kushida at WWE Performance Center

Two names which have been rumored to be signing with WWE for even longer than he was have joined Kushida at WWE’s Orlando Performance Center.

The company announced the arrivals of Stephon (Shane) Strickland and Humberto Garza (Jr.) earlier today. The Japanese wrestler’s signing was revealed WrestleMania weekend, and he appeared on-screen in a crowd shot at April 5’s TakeOver: New York.

Strickland has been wrestling since 2011, most recently in Evolve/WWN and MLW. He worked under a mask as Killshot in Lucha Underground, and his contract with that show is believed to have delayed his being able to sign a WWE contract.

Garza Jr. is the 26 year old nephew of WCW’s Hector Garza, and the cousin of 205 Live’s Humberto Carrillo. He’s wrestled for several Mexican companies, including AAA and The Crash, as well as MLW and Pro Wrestling NOAH.

You can read more about all three at WWE’s website here.
